    Job Title – Surety & Bonds Business Development Manager
    Contract – Permanent
    Location – Wigan
    Salary – GBP40,000 

    Our client is looking to recruit a Surety & Bonds Business Dvelopment Manager with a strong work ethic. An opportunity has arisen to join their team for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual looking to develop a successful career at an organisation that is leading the way in their sector.

    The role consists of business management development providing clients with exemplary levels of customer service. If successful not only will you achieve financial success, but there is potential to become Managing Director. You would be required to provide clients with specialist bonds; the employees enjoy taking responsibility for themselves and are not afraid to take ownership. You will need to meet targets and enjoy the requisite benefits of doing so. You will be motivated, hungry for success and a thirst to learn. You will need to have a strong work ethic, enjoy working as part of a team, and have the ability to liaise and sell to property developers and other associated bodies like architects, project managers and lawyers through regular communication and excellent interpersonal skills.


    – The role is for a Business Manager reporting directly to the CEO
    – Experience required, wider knowledge of the Surety market, preferably in-depth
    – Do not need to know about R&S Bonds as we can educate them
    – Experience in construction, freight and further bonds
    – Need to be used to reporting to directors and clients, a brokers representative
    – Two years of experience in Sales would be ideal

    – Liaising with existing underwriters to further develop, establish and manage our ongoing relationship
    – Approaching and attracting new underwriters to the market
    – Securing RS Bonds with its own underwriting facility (The Pen)
    – Liaising with Group contacts to promote and deliver bond swaps
    – Liaising with and managing the relationship with our main referrers
    – Undertaking business development actions and marketing
    – Managing the operations team to provide quotations to clients
    – Dealing with client concerns or queries
