Job Title: Development Underwriter – Real Estate
Location: London/South East
Package: GBP50,000
Job Type: Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

– Developing and supporting the companys commercial lines property account by engaging and encouraging new and existing relationships with real estate insurance specialist brokers across London and the South East of England
– Ensuring the companys technical underwriting rates and criteria are accurately applied to all risks
– Profitably underwrite, on a case-by-case and account portfolio basis, commercial mid-market real estate risks within the companys underwriting criteria
– To prospect and actively contribute to the growth targets of the team optimising sales and retention.

Experience:
– Experience in underwriting and trading property insurance including motor trade
– Proven relationship management
– An awareness of the market and legal/industry developments
– Experience in delivering training and/or coaching

Job Package:
– 36.25 working hours per week
