    Job Title – Insurance Sales Advisor

    Contract – Permanent

    Salary – £25k

    Location – Leeds / Homebased until re-opened

     


    We are currently recruiting for Insurance Sales Advisor to join our clients new team. The team will be based in their central Leeds office, but the position will be homebased until our offices are fully re-opened. 

     

    This is exciting time to join the new division, as you will have the opportunity to work with an existing SME business division, learning about the existing customers and products/procedures before brining that knowledge to division.

    About the Role

     

    As an Insurance Sales Advisor, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service. In this role you are responsible for generating revenue from new clients, processing renewal applications, changes to policy cover and certificates of insurance. You will receive comprehensive product and system training, to ensure you have the proper tools and knowledge to be successful in this role. 

     

    • You will be required to help develop, coach and support junior members of Service Centre team in handling high volume of inbound calls. Monitor call quality and daily work schedules and taking correct action where needed.
    • Adhere to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and making sure Service Level Agreements SLA’s are maintained.
    • As an Insurance Sales Advisor in the team you should have a high level of client, system and process knowledge
    • You will be required to deal with semi-routine or complex member queries
    • You may be required to support the Team Manager in workload management.
    • You should work with the Team manager to support performance management activities for the CSRs
    • Supports and provides guidance to colleagues, identifies development needs in others and providing on the job training as required
    • Responsible for working in accordance with the Group Management Framework, and compliance with the company policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

     


    About You

     

    As an Insurance Sales Advisor your skills will ideally include: 

     

    • Build strong rapport with new clients, understand their needs and take pride on delivering on promises to deliver exceptional levels of service that delight our customers.
    • Develop a deep understanding of all the products offered to customers so you can match the right products to customer needs
    • Work with insurer underwriters on more complex cases to ensure a quick resolution to any customer queries that are passed to them
    • Work with new clients to advise them on limits, excess and payment options that are right for their business
    • Resolution of queries received from clients and insurers – liaising with colleagues within other departments as necessary.
    • Adhere to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and making sure Service Level Agreements SLA’s are maintained.
    • As an Insurance Sales Advisor you should have a high level of client, system and process knowledge
    • You will be required to deal with semi-routine or complex customer queries resulting from inbound and outbound calls and email
    • Ensure you constantly look for ways to improve our systems, products and processes and feed this back to your team leader so we constantly improve our proposition to customers
