    Job Title: Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

    Salary: £60,000
    Location:  Buckinghamshire


    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    Lawes are working exclusively with a well-established and expanding Insurance Broker to recruit an experienced Account Executive / Senior Account Executive to join their commercial team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a substantial portfolio of clients while driving new business opportunities and contributing to the team’s continued growth. You will provide exceptional client service by managing and growing a diverse commercial portfolio, building strong relationships, and delivering effective risk and protection solutions.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
    • Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing renewals, adjustments and day-to-day servicing
    • Identify opportunities for growth, both within existing accounts and through new business development
    • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
    • Support and contribute to a collaborative team environment

    DAY-TO-DAY

    • Meeting with clients across Buckinghamshire, London and the Home Counties
    • Handling client queries and providing timely, professional advice
    • Preparing and presenting renewal terms and recommendations
    • Monitoring market developments to ensure clients receive the most suitable solutions
    • Supporting junior colleagues and sharing technical knowledge

    EXPERIENCE

    • Proven background in managing commercial clients within a professional services environment
    • Track record of business development and client retention
    • Experience of working with a broad range of industry sectors
    • Understanding of compliance, governance, and industry regulations

    SKILLS

    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
    • Commercially astute with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
    • Competence with industry systems (Acturis experience advantageous but not essential)
    • Professional qualifications (CII/ACII) desirable, with support available to progress
