    Job title: Corporate Account Executive

    Salary: £60,000

    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    Lawes is recruiting for an experienced Account Executive to join a Corporate team within an established insurance organisation. The role focuses on developing and maintaining strong client relationships, managing a portfolio of corporate accounts, and supporting business growth through high-quality advice and service. The successful candidate will be responsible for both retaining existing clients and identifying opportunities for expansion, ensuring all activity is delivered to a high professional standard.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage and develop relationships with corporate clients.
    • Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy management.
    • Identify opportunities for account growth and new business.
    • Ensure all documentation and processes meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
    • Liaise with internal teams to support client servicing and placement activity.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions and insurance products.

    DAY TO DAY

    • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of corporate clients.
    • Prepare and present renewal terms, reports, and documentation.
    • Engage with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive solutions.
    • Respond to client enquiries and provide guidance on coverage and risk requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records and system updates.
    • Attend internal meetings and collaborate with colleagues across broking and support functions.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Experience in an Account Executive or similar role within commercial or corporate insurance.
    • Background in managing a client portfolio and handling renewals.
    • Understanding of insurer markets, placement processes, and risk discussions.
    • Experience operating within FCA-regulated environments.

    SKILLS

    • Strong client relationship and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
    • Confident negotiating with insurers and presenting solutions to clients.
    • High attention to detail with strong organisational capability.
    • Competent in using insurance systems and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Professional, proactive, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
