    Job title: Client Executive

    Salary: £100,000

    Location: London

    Area: Insurance –  Energy & Power


    Purpose of role:

    • Our client has an exciting opportunity  join their Energy and Power team in their London office.  This role is within their UK & Ireland team, a dynamic and fast paced area of the Energy and Power practice. 
    • The role will require the successful candidate to lead retail accounts and provide specialist risk management advisory services to our clients.  The role will include co-ordination across other specialities within the company, providing innovative client service solutions, and building relationships within the UK Energy sector.  There is also opportunity to be involved in the forefront of the Energy Transition, working with clients who are transitioning or starting up in the CCUS and Hydrogen sectors.
    • Our client is looking for an individual who is seeking a new challenge and advancement in their career.
    • Candidates must be pro-active and have a demonstrable interest in this sector.  

     


    Key responsibilities:

    • Lead client accounts, taking a pro-active approach in delivery of our service.
    • Provide clients with insurance risk management advisory services.
    • Creates and delivers renewal strategies for clients, co-ordinating with the wider Energy and Power team.
    • Demonstrates proficient awareness of market conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
    • Develops relationships with other Specialities within the company with the view of providing additional products to clients.
    • Monitors accounts progress (payments, collections, etc.) anticipating and preventing problems when possible.
    • Maintains strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance markets.
    • Ability to communicate key cover terms and conditions to clients.
    • Development of new business opportunities.

     


    Experience:

     

    Essential

    • Ability and preference to work collaboratively within a team
    • Solid and proven experience of managing large client accounts
    • Professional affiliation/accreditations desirable (ACII part/fully qualified (or equivalent) preferred)
    • Energy Insurance background desirable but not necessary if candidate has a retail client servicing background
    • Strong communication and influencing skills are essential
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills are ‎essential
    • Ability to identify when to escalate an issue or not where it is beneficial to the delivery of client service.
    • Strong computer skills including demonstrable proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint essential
    • Demonstrates confidence in presenting to clients and internally

     

    Preferred 

    • Energy Insurance background desirable but not necessary if candidate has a retail client servicing background
