Job title: Commercial Broker

Salary: Competitive salary to £44,000

Location: Glasgow – Hybrid working

Purpose of role:

This impressive broking company is looking for a technical broker to join their commercial broking team in Glasgow.

Key responsibilities:

• To understand existing client business risks and to administer commercial insurance programmes designed for the protection of the client against these risks.
• Provide day to day servicing, and administration of allocated clients insurance programmes in a timely, technically accurate and cost effective manner, in accordance with procedures and performance standards
• Assist in developing less experienced members of staff by imparting knowledge and expertise.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and insurers.
• Working closely with directors, executives, claims and risk management team.

Experience:

• You should have minimum 5 years commercial insurance broking experience
• Knowledge of Acturis would be preferred
• A good knowledge of commercial insurance products including motor, EL, PL, property, commercial combined, etc.
• Experienced gained in handling large and/or complex risks.
• Confident with most classes of commercial insurance risk including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, etc.
