    Job title: Commerical Account Executive

    Salary: £competitive

    Location: Glasgow/Hybrid

     


    Purpose of the role:

    Act as first point of contact for new and existing insurance clients within the SME, mid and large commercial insurance broking marketplace. Provide tailored insurances to clients.


    Key responsibilities:

    • Develop, win and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
    • Provide a broking service to clients in line with commercial insurance product needs including EL, PL, motor, motor fleet, property, commercial combined, etc.
    • Build and tailor be-spoke insurance programmes.
    • Provide anethical, professional and cost-effective broking service.
    • Adhere to company and FCA regulations and guidelines.
    • Identify new business and cross-sell opportunities.
    • Attend seminars and networking events.
    • Prepare market presentationsand submissions.
    • Keep Acturis records up to date.
    • Adhered to company and FCA regulations and guidelines.

    Experience:

    • Track record of winning and retaining new and existing commercial insurance business risks.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products including motor, property, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, etc.
    • Ability to identify new business opportunities.
    • Confident in building relationships and negotiating with new and potential clients.
    • Enjoy attending seminars and networking events.
    • Strong communication, business development and presentation skills.
    • Ability to thrive when working in a sales environment.
    • Experience of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • UK drivers licence.
    • Acturis experience preferred.
    • CII exams or working towards essential.
    • Experience in developing business strategies in line with client requirements.
