Job title: Insurance Personal Assistant
Salary: £40,000
Location: London – office based
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Lawes is currently working with a leading theatre and entertainment insurance broker seeking a Personal Assistant/Secretary to join their team in London. You’ll be providing support to the MD, as well as assisting with wider secretarial duties across the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diary management including arranging meetings
- Taking minutes at meetings
- Read and respond promptly to emails and queries
- Answering and transferring calls
- Type up dictated notes, letters, and reports
- Prepare and issue documentation
- Provide support to the wider team when needed
- Ad-hoc administrative duties
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as a PA or Secretary
- Experience within an Insurance environment – advantageous but not essential
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent IT skills including all MS Office
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Well organised with excellent time management
- Can stay in control under pressure
- Knowledge of shorthand – preferred
