Salary: £40,000

Location:Manchester – Hybrid

PURPOSE-OF-ROLE

Lawes is currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a dynamic and growing team servicing large commercial clients. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and retain a portfolio of existing commercial clients
• Support new-business opportunities in collaboration with executives
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations in all broking activities
• Provide technical insurance advice including Motor, Fleet and Property
• Assist with the placement of premiums up to £300K

DAY-TO-DAY

• Handle renewals, mid-term-adjustments and new quotes
• Prepare and present market submissions
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Build strong client relationships through professional service delivery
• Support the team in achieving KPIs and service-level standards

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler within the insurance industry
• Track record of managing high-value premiums and complex client needs
• Experience working in a broker environment

SKILLS

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
• Sound knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
• Proficient user of Acturis
