    Job title: Account Handler – Sports & Entertainment

    Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
    Location: London


    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    We are working with a Lloyds Broker who are looking to grow their entertainment team and are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their London team. The role offers the opportunity to work with a mix of clients across the sports & entertainment industry and provide high-quality account management, technical support, and administrative expertise.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the Account Executives with a full account management function
    • Handle the administration of new and existing business
    • Deal with a mix of Commercial risks including Commercial Combined, Management Liability, Travel, Event Cancellation, and Non-appearance policies.
    • Process renewals, MTAs, and client enquiries accurately and efficiently.
    • Evaluate and document processes for a varied client portfolio.
    • Assist team members throughout the policy lifecycle to ensure exceptional client service.
    • Maintain compliance with company and FCA regulations.
    • Manage professional development through ongoing training and collaboration with your line manager.

    DAY-TO-DAY

    • Work closely with brokers and clients to manage insurance placements and renewals.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate policy documentation and correspondence.
    • Liaise with underwriters to ensure timely completion of quotations and endorsements.
    • Ensure all records are updated in line with company procedures.
    • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues across the team, division, and company.

    SKILLS

    • Minimum of 5 years’ commercial insurance experience.
    • Ideally have knowledge of a range of Commercial risks including Commercial Combined
    • Knowledge of Acturis system is essential
    • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
    • Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time management skills.
    • High attention to detail with proven operational and administrative experience.
    • Ability to persuade, negotiate, and influence effectively.
