Job title: Senior Property Package Underwriter

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 DOE

Responsibilities

• Underwriting new business and renewals in line with defined underwriting guidelines, budgets, and business plans.
• Representing and promoting the company to brokers, internal stakeholders, and external clients.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers and clients through proactive engagement and external visits.
• Contributing to the development of products to enhance client retention and attract new business.
• Mentoring, training, and coaching junior colleagues to build a high-performing underwriting team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the insurance market, particularly in multiline property and casualty underwriting.
• ACII qualification preferred.
• Strong technical and business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of corporate underwriting, the insurance market, and competitors.
• Proven experience in managing relationships with brokers and clients.
• Leadership, mentoring, and people development experience is preferred but not essential.
