Head of IT – Insurance

Job Title – Head of IT – Insurance
Contract – Permanent
Salary – GBP60,000 – GBP75,000
Location – Buckinghamshire / Bedfordshire 

Job purpose:

My client are an established MGA providing specialty lines products to UK and international brokers and are currently recruiting for a Head of IT.

The role includes responsibility for:

· The outsourcing arrangements, including relationships with vendors
· Company owned IT assets, systems and processes
· BCP and disaster recovery plans and testing
· Management of day-to-day support
· Management of the IT Team; and other resources as required
· Managing the onsite network and other IT equipment
· Configuring and provisioning workstations in the office locations, as required
· General troubleshooting of equipment, systems and other technical matters
· Providing clarification/interpretation of communications and requirements between the business and the technical teams (both internal and external)
· Project management
· Administration of the underwriting/claims systems
