    Job Title – Commercial Account Handler
    Contract – Permanent
    Salary – GBP25,000
    Location – Worcestershire 

    Our client is currently recruiting for a Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join their established Commercial team based in Worcestershire. Working closely with an Account Executive you will be handling a book of new and existing accounts providing excellent customer service

    Responsibilities:

    – You will treat every customer with the highest quality of service, and you will utilise your communication and negotiation techniques to explain features and benefits of insurance products
    – You will compile client information and maintain client data records
    – You will liaise with insurers on quotations and place cover when instructed
    – You will invite and confirm renewals, deal with mid-term adjustments and assist with collection of payments when required
    – You will maintain accurate and detailed records of all client information
    – You will identify cross selling opportunities
    – You will work closely with an Account Executive to manage client workflow

    Experience & skills:

    – You will have previous experience working within Commercial Insurance
    – You will be articulate and have good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients/customers and Insurers
    – You will have a proven track record of providing great customer service
    – You will be adaptable to change, working collaboratively as part of a team as well as on your own initiative
    – You will have a positive can do attitude with the ability to work under pressure in an organised and methodical way
    – You will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
    – You will be organised and able to work to deadlines as required, manage your own workload and prioritise accordingly
    – Knowledge and experience of SSP &/or Acturis (highly desirable)
    – Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and client requirements
    – Thorough knowledge of FCA Regulations for dealing with Retail and Commercial Customers including Treating Customers Fairly
