    Job Title – Corporate Account Handler
    Contract – Permanent
    Location – Manchester
    Salary – GBP32,000 – GBP40,000 

    Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Corporate Account Handler (Account Manager) to join their team located in their Manchester offices. This is the perfect role for an individual with a strong background in commercial insurance having worked in a Handler or Broker type role and looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker.

    The role:

    – An opportunity to join an established and client focused broking team
    – To work on a variety of complex commercial insurance policies
    – A platform to build on existing knowledge and an opportunity to learn new skills in a continuous improvement environment
    – To build and maintain an excellent rapport with our clients, providers and colleagues across the Group

    – Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes
    – Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives
    – Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards
    – Manage all day to day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments
    – Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth
    – Perform critical client functions, including: evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client across product lines
    – Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience
    – Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients

    Skills & Experience:

    – In-depth commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products
    – Enjoy working within a culture of continuous improvement, from both an individual and team focus
    – Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
    – Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities
    – Ideally hold or be working towards the Dip CII qualification
    – Broker System experience (ideally Acturis)
    – Proven expertise of Financial Lines insurances (Professional Indemnity) from either underwriting or broking background
