    Job Title: Senior Employee Benefits Consultant
    Location: London
    Package: GBP60,000 – GBP80,000
    Job Type: Permanent 

    Our client is looking for a Senior Consultant to work in the Group Health and Risk team. You will operate as a benefits specialist, overseeing and supporting the delivery of primarily Group Risk and Healthcare consultancy services across a broad portfolio of Corporate clients. This is a senior role with responsibility for a number of key clients and consultancy projects within the wider EB Team.

    Although the focus is risk and healthcare, ideally you would have experience across the wider employee benefits arena especially Flex and technology platforms although this is not a key criteria for the job. You will be expected to support the development of strong client relationships and strategy to continually seek opportunities to grow our client services & revenues.

    Job Responsibilities:

    – Manage a portfolio of corporate clients
    – Direct contact with clients to resolve queries, support relationship development and to ensure the timely delivery of services
    – Thought leadership on risk, healthcare and other services
    – Working to review and broaden the services offered by the client
    – Involvement in flex and technology platforms implementation where needed
    – Managing the market review and re-broking process
    – Support junior consultants in growing in knowledge and confidence
    – Attendance and participation at client meetings
    – Ensuring that the company FCA requirements are fully adhered to (file maintenance, terms of business, key facts documents, claim register, file checklists)
    – Peer reviewing and ensuring own work is peer reviewed as appropriate
    – Adhering to Corporate Policies and Procedures (CCPs)
    – Reporting any suspected breaches to management / compliance department upon discovery

    Experience & Skills:

    – 5 years plus experience in a Risk and Healthcare related Consultancy role
    – Strong technical understanding of employee benefits design and risk and health insurance products
    – Good commercial awareness
    – Experience of new business pitches and tendering
    – Wider industry knowledge especially within Platforms and Technology
    – Must be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
    – Able to prioritise, organise and carry out tasks within deadlines
    – Able to follow process and procedure accurately
    – Good numeracy and literacy skills
    – Proactive and a team player
