    The role: Commercial Account Handler

     

    We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Handler to join our clients Advisory team located in our Worcester offices. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong background in commercial insurance having worked in a Handler or Broker type role and looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker.

     

    This role can be either office based or a mix of office/remote offering you the opportunity and flexibility to work within a specialized team from the comfort of your own home

    We will rely on you to:

    • Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes.
    • Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives
    • Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
    • Manage all day to day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments.
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
    • Perform critical client functions, including: evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client across product lines.
    • Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
    • Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients

     


    What you need to have:

    • In-depth commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products is ideal however experience within Personal Lines Account Handling will be considered
    • Enjoy working within a culture of continuous improvement, from both an individual and team focus
    • Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
    • Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities

     


    What makes you stand out:

    • Cert CII qualification
    • Commercial Insurance experience
    • Broker System experience (ideally Acturis)
