    One of Leicestershire’s leading broking houses is seeking to recruit an Account Executive for their Sales and Servicing team in the region. You’ll act as the teams market face with regards to generating new relationships with Commercial clients.

    The role will suit an already performing Insurance sales person or an Account Handler with a passion for new business looking to develop this skillset. There is a clear training/development path to grow into an External Account Executive.


    The Company

    • A major name in the Leicester insurance broking market, the business is progressive and expanding through a mix of strong results and on-going investment.
    • The existing team is respected and well regarded, servicing a range of commercial and corporate clients (as well as those within a number of key specialisms).
    • This role is within an established team and reports to senior regional management – its a key hire created to facilitate ambitious plans for 2022 and beyond.

    Role:

    • To grow a profitable portfolio of commercial clients through, networking and referrals, through using own relationship building skills to engage client
    • Close new business opportunities set up by a lead generations team
    • To ensure that the company provides a professional, prompt and efficient service to customers
    • A collaborative and innovative approach to working
    • To manage the relationship between the business and new and existing customers, generating new business and renewal income to meet monthly and annual targets
    • Use of appropriate Advertising/Marketing methods
    • Competitor analysis/awareness
    • Attract new business by identifying and exploiting opportunities in the local market
    • Deliver good customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients
    • To monitor and report on performance against agreed sales targets

    You:

    • Commercial experience essential
    • Computer literate;
    • Knowledge of sales processes within relevant market;
    • Good product and technical knowledge;
    • Excellent communication, time management, negotiation, presentation and relationship building skills;
    • Self-motivated and resilient;
    • Account management skills.
    • Cert CII qualification preferred but not essential;
