    Job Title: Client Director – Corporate Division
    Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
    Salary: £65,000 circa
    Job Type: Permanent

    The Role

    The role will consist of managing a portfolio of clients whilst new business development will be a key contributor towards the departments growth plans.


    Key Responsibilities

    General responsibilities

    • Client Relationship management – overall responsibility for client and service / broking team coordination
    • Strategic and directional planning for management of client liaising with Account Chairman as applicable
    • Facilitating and overseeing introductions along with ongoing management to other areas of the business (e.g. Claims, Risk Management, Credit, EB, Private Clients)
    • Client visits
    • Ensuring delivery of Client Service Plan
    • Ensuring appropriate resources are in place to deliver agreed services
    • Agreeing appropriate remuneration with client
    • Client entertainment participation and oversight
    • Credit control
    • Ensuring clients are fully aware of policy coverage / conditions / limitations

    New business

    • Creating client record on Acturis
    • Establishment of client demands, needs, cover requirements and programme design
    • Fact Find completion and organisation of additional underwriting information (e.g. claims experience, surveys, questionnaires etc.)
    • Liaising with Broker on broking strategy to be employed and contributing as necessary
    • Signing off Broking presentations

    Renewal business

    • Establishment any changes to client demands, needs, cover requirements and programme design
    • Fact Find and underwriting information updates (Informally every year. Formally whenever re-broking takes place or every 3 years)
    • Renewal strategy
    • Liaison with Broker / AH on any re-broking strategy to be employed and contributing as necessary
    • Signing off Broking presentations

    Person Specification

    • Minimum of 10 years in the insurance industry preferably with Corporate Client Service experience
    • Extensive working knowledge of General Commercial Lines business and the Broking market
    • Demonstrable drive, self-motivation and determination to achieve results
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills combined with a proven track record of relationship management and customer focus
    • Strong influencing, negotiation and leadership skills
    • Team player
    • Customer obsessed
    • Minimum Dip CII
    • Target book size of £350,000
    • Acturis experience is preferred
