    Job Title – Real Estate Claims Handler – (Claims & Adjusting)

    Contract – Permanent

    Salary – £30,000 – £35,000

    Location – Croydon, Surrey

In return for your commitment, we’ll provide you with the know how and support so you’ll become a subject matter expert, providing a first class service to our customers.

    You’ll be managing a portfolio of desktop Real Estate claims from cradle to grave for your nominated clients. Pro-actively validating and settling claims within your agreed handling authority. Providing regular and meaningful updates to clients, brokers and insurers.

    Attending regular meetings with your nominated clients and brokers to discuss ongoing claims including collating and delivering any specific data that is required for the meetings.

     

    You’ll also be providing overview management on adjuster led Real Estate claims for your nominated client both in the UK and overseas, ensuring these claims run smoothly and being a point of contact for the broker and client in the UK for queries and escalations on claims being handled by the company outside of the UK.

     

    We’re looking for talent: experienced claims experts who relish challenges and provide solutions. Previous property claims handling experience is essential, preferably Commercial Property but would still like to hear from you if you have Domestic Property experience. Additionally, we’d like you to have:

     

    • Ability to negotiate & settle claims using a variety of methods in line with TCF and Client requirements
    • Strong Customer Skills
    • Good communication skills with all stakeholders
    • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively including report writing.
    • Ability to work in a structured manner to drive for quality
    • High personal standards of service delivery as a core skill.
    • Ability to empathise and communicate at all levels 
    • Evidenced ability to plan and organize workload.
    • Technical competence and experience of handling property losses up to an agreed value.
