    Job Title – SME Insurance Executive
    Contract – Permanent
    Salary – Circa £30,000-£35,000 Basic with OTE earnings
    Location – Bristol, Hybrid role
    Industry – Insurance
     
     


    Summary of role:

     

    We are looking for a dynamic individual to support the business through the provision of contacting businesses to help fast growth throughout the business.

     

    The SME Executive will support the development of new branches with local focus as new branches open in contacting local business’s and obtaining decision making contacts and renewal dates to help branch growth plans.

     

    The role is a self-sufficient and fast paced and requires the individual to be able to think outside the box and organise time and diary effectively.

     

    The role will also include ad hoc duties as required by the business and visiting branches to assist with launch.

      


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build effective relationships with businesses owners and obtain renewal dates or if possible, write business immediately.
    • Develop & deliver a broad range of opportunities/leads that support the business to achieve its commercial, customer and GWP targets.
    • A proactive approach to researching businesses as well as new and innovative approaches to development to support the business and the development of the target audience. Helping new branches establish reputation locally as they open.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance and extend the portfolio of clients and help staff with capability as appropriate.
    • Produce meaningful MI on progress.
    • Ensure that all materials meet regulatory and legal requirements and embodies the vision of treating both customers and colleagues fairly.
    • Create a positive sales environment and experience whether that be in the branches, through coaching and developing teams to proactive approach of obtaining businesses.

     


    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Experience of developing and delivering high level leads and ongoing reporting that demonstrable value to the business.
    • Experience in delivering business that are supported by sales for branches.
    • Experience of developing new content through research; networking and independent thinking that can be delivered via a variety of platforms.
    • Previous experience of working in a regulated environment is desirable.
    • Multi-site with travel experience desired

     


    Flexible Hybrid Working:

    Hybrid approach to working. For most colleagues, this means being in the office two or three days a week and the rest of the time working from wherever is best for them and their team.
