    Job Title – Insurance Business Support

    Contract – Permanent

    Salary – £20,000 – £25,000

    Location – Hertfordshire

     


    Role:

    An established insurance business is seeking a Sales Operations Supervisor to support their business. The role is office based and you will be both customer facing and supporting the wider office team. Seeking someone with excellent organisational skills, a ‘can-do,’ proactive attitude, and a keen attention to detail, all of which will contribute to the smooth day-to day running of the office.  No two days will be the same and with a wide variety of systems to gain experience in, you will soon become an integral member in this growing business.     Duties:

    • Front of house – welcoming clients, both existing and new
    • Management of conference, training and meeting room diaries
    • Office housekeeping – opening/ closing up of the office when required, ordering & management of office supplies, minute taking at office meetings with action oversight, etc.
    • Oversight of Invoice/ Payment system – taking payments, chasing debtors, debtor reporting
    • Management of the agency email inbox – fielding emails, oversight of workload for customer service team
    • Supporting both the Sales and Service teams with client documentation, reporting writing and basic spreadsheet preparation
    • Should you wish to partake in insurance licence training, review and process amendments to policies arising from changes to cover and circumstance, meetings customer service standards and ensuring cover is appropriate.

    Knowledge & Skills:

    • A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent of A-C grade including Maths and English.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
    • Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
    • A full UK driving licence is required (our office is located in a rural location)

    Salary & Benefits:

    The salary will be £20,000 – £25,000 depending on experience. The position will be full time, office based in a stunning rural location, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a one hour lunch break.

    The holiday allowance is 25 days, plus bank holidays.  After three months, you will be auto-enrolled to a pension scheme. We are a friendly and social office, holding team events throughout the year. We are also involved with local community events, college open days, sporting events and raise thousands of pounds for charities each year.
