    Job Title: Counter Terrorism Insurance – Broker/Senior Broker/Director
    Location: London
    Package: £65,000- £110,000

    We are currently working alongside the International Counter Terrorism division of an “ABC” broker. They are looking to make a Senior hire into their market facing team where you will be expected to be the lead broker on some of the largest risk to exist in the market.

     

    Ideally you will already be operating in a Counter Terrorism role however if you are from a Political Risk or K&R background looking to move into this line of business then please get in touch.


    Key Functions

    • Client management and broking in servicing for an international portfolio of clients, including both renewals and new business from initial enquiry through to the handing over of the placing slip to the processing/documentation team
    • Provide full reviews of the risks proposed, preparation of underwriting presentations, and review of insurance produced by our documentation team
    • Placement with insurers, including electronic trading
    • Contribute to the growth of the portfolio
    • Support and lead tenders
    • Proactively manage market relationships and support our broking strategy.

    Skills & Experience: 

    • As a Senior Broker your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
    • Excellent understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
    • Extensive knowledge of Counter Terrorism and/or political risk/ Kidnap and ransom
    • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
    • Experience of managing effective client relationships
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • High level of numeracy
    • Effective communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent understanding and application of compliance and FCA regulation
    • Ability to work well as part of a team
    • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism
