    Job Title – Commercial Renewals Account Handler
    Contract – Permanent
    Salary – GBP25,000 – GBP28,000 + Generous commission package.
    Location – Worcestershire
    Industry – Insurance Broker (Insurance, Commercial, Corporate) 

    Due to our clients continued success and ambitious plans for further growth, we have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Commercial Renewals Account Handler to join an expanding insurance brokerage. You will be managing your own portfolio of accounts whilst maximising client retention and enhancing revenue streams from existing client base, you will also be required to proactively develop new business opportunities. There is an existing book of which you will inherit, you will also be required to develop your own new client base.

    The Role:-

    · Looking after premiums from GBP15,000 – GBP20,000
    · Visit clients for annual renewal meetings or as required
    · Own client business retention by efficient / prompt handling of all matters – day-to-day enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments and enquiries
    · Proactive development of new business streams from referrals and recommendations.
    · To put together Client Prospect risk presentations to forward to Insurers and to negotiate insurance premiums and cover with Insurers in line with Client requirement
    · Review insurer placements to ensure that best advice is offered at all times.
    · Develop strong relationships with key suppliers as evidenced by account size and profitability
    The Candidate:-

    · General Commercial Insurance knowledge and experience, ideally from a similar role
    · High level of ambition and drive
    · Ability to generate new business
    · Sales orientated
    · General Commercial experience, Construction and Haulage would be a big advantage
    · Ability to generate new business and build a successful pipeline
    · Exceptional customer focus with great relationship building skills
    · Cert CII – beneficial
