    Job Title – Head of Broker Sales – Motor Fleet

    Contract – Permanent

    Salary – Negotiable

    Industry – Insurance (Insurance, Insurtech, Motor Fleet, Broking)


    I am currently working with an ambitious UK Insurtech who are looking for someone from a motor fleet background to come in and take charge of building and executing the distribution strategy, building pipeline and eventually building a team around you to continue business growth.

    The right person will have good industry experience and market connections, be an ambitious self starter and happy to come in and hit the ground running.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Initially, you will be working alone with a small support team in developing our broker commercial sales channel; so you will be used to building sales pipeline and successfully managing your own book of commercial fleet clients
    • Additionally though we are seeking a person with the drive and ambition to play a key part in our future growth, contributing both strategically and practically through your industry insight and vision
    • You will be responsible for the set up and management of the whole broker distribution team and direct the rest of the business in supporting new channel development.
    • You will also be able to source and negotiate with underwriters and carriers, when placing clients’ business and assist the rest of the Company in meeting capacity requirements


    • c10 years relevant industry experience
    • Self-starter, assertive and flexible with the ability to motivate others.
    • Commercially astute with the drive and expertise to build a successful broker business
    • Extensive industry knowledge, with strong network connections to support the business development process
    • Excellent relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills with the tenacity to pursue cases in difficult, challenging circumstances.
    • You will enjoy the challenge of being part of a small Insurtech team and embrace the start-up culture
