Lawes Consulting Group are working exclusively with a progressively growing insurer who are on the lookout for a Marine Underwriter. This very specific, senior opportunity sits firmly within this syndicate’s innovative Global Marine space.

The opportunity will allow you to build upon your knowledge and experience in London Market taking on an active role in decision making process you will define, develop and deliver the underwriting strategy ensuring extreme valuable business is written.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and underwriting specific Marine risks.
• Market analysis
• Build upon your knowledge and experience in London Market.
• Opportunity to work alongside Portfolio Underwriters
• Taking an active role in the decision-making process
• Liaising with our Account Management and Distribution teams assisting in strategic conversations
• Regularly agree with the correct compliance.

Qualification, Experience & Capabilities

• Cert CII Qualification desirable not essential
• Marine knowledge is essential.
• London Market knowledge is required.
