    Job Title: Commercial Development Executive

    Location: Nottingham                

    Package: £45,000 per annum + signing on bonus.
    Industry: Commercial Broking  

    Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.


    Lawes Consulting Group are working with an independent brokerage who are recruiting for a Commercial Development executive, this provides the opportunity to also take over an existing book of business.


    The role will be focusing on developing, growing and retaining an existing Commercial client base by extending the reach of our products to existing clients in order to increase revenue.


    • Build relationships with new and existing clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
    • Identifying new products
    • Developing the existing team of Commercial Account Handlers
    • Take an active role as part of the Management Team, contribute to management meetings, work effectively with the Management Team to develop on-going business plans
    • Carry out regular training as appropriate to the position held and areas of activity, to maintain competencies in accordance with FCA requirements
    • Assist with training as required
    • Work on own initiative

    Qualification, Experience & Capabilities

    • Commercial experience required.
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Cert CII qualified
    • Computer literate including use of Microsoft Windows Programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
    • Knowledge and understanding of FCA rules and guidelines relating to commercial customers
    • Knowledge and understanding of agreed commercial insurance classes including current market conditions.
