Job Purpose:

A well-established insurance brokerage are currently recruiting for a Household Insurance Account Handler. A great opportunity to further your insurance career and work with experienced colleagues.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• To successfully broke new business enquiries, MTA’s insurance renewals and provide a first-class service to clients by fulfilling their insurance requirements.
• Handle day to day queries from clients and act as point of contact.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients’ insurers and other staff within the Company.
• Liaise with colleagues to share information about the current insurance marketplace and to assist them with any insurance queries.
• Comply with service standards at all times to ensure the best service is provided to clients.
• Provide insurers and underwriters with accurate information to ensure they can assess each risk correctly.
• Maintain accurate files and to ensure copies of correspondence and telephone notes are correctly recorded.

Core Competencies:

• PC Literate
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous household insurance experience
• Excellent telephone manner.
