    Job Title – Commercial Account Handler

    Contract – Permanent

    Salary – £28,000 – £37,000 per annum

    Location – Newmarket

    An established independent insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Account Handler. Our client is open to candidates with all levels of experience ranging from minimum of 2 years.

     

    This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a brokerage who are willing to train and support you within development of sales and marketing strategies.  

     

    Our client are also willing to provide financial support with CII exams and other insurance courses. 

     

    COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

     


    About the Role:

     

    • The position is for a Commercial Account Handler, ideally with about 2-4 years’ experience handling commercial combined packages.
    • Administer a portfolio of client insurance plans in a professional and ethical manner following agreed procedures.
    • You will be your client’s first point of contact for cover queries, mid-term adjustments, quotations for additional insurances, document issue and many other tasks and projects.
    • Office base but home working also considered depending on experience
    • Undertake sales activities ensuring delivery of sales and marketing targets
    • Responsible for the management and development of new and existing accounts
    • Working under minimal supervision and be responsible for delivery of own sales and business performance targets
    • Identify and deliver appropriate marketing campaigns.

     


    Role Requirements:

     

    • Computer literate
    • Knowledge of sales processes within relevant market
    • Good product and technical knowledge
    • Ability to work in a team/team player
    • Excellent communication time management negotiation presentation and relationship building skills
    • Self-motivated and resilient
    • Account campaign management skills
    • CII qualification preferred but not essential
