    Job Title – Client Adviser – Employee Benefits

    Contract – Permanent

    Salary – £30,000

    Location – Manchester

    A very well regarded and established insurance business are seeking a Client Adviser to assist with the Employee Benefits offering. Great opportunities to progress within the company, benefits package and 2 days hybrid working from home are available with this role.


    To provide a quality service to clients in respect of renewal and new business insurance arrangements advising, arranging, and securing appropriate cover. 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. The team works across healthcare, risk, pensions and platform technology. The volume of business is rising rapidly and career opportunities are excellent should individuals demonstrate the required skills and success in their role.



    • Maintaining relationship, interaction and liaising with client’s
    • Maintaining relationship, interaction and liaising with insurers
    • Processing MTA’s and administration
    • Ensuring all communications, documents, invoices are issued in a compliant way in line with company policies & procedures and full utilisation of Acturis systems
    • Arranging appointment to existing schemes with all insurers following client’s instruction
    • Invoicing
    • Policy wordings – checking correct and suitable for client demands, needs and cover requirements
    • Updating records with any changes to client demands, needs, cover requirements, fact finds and underwriting information.
    • Production of initial draft Broking presentation for broker.
    • Pipeline register completion
    • Liaising with Employee Benefits Consultant / broker on broking strategy to be employed
    • Obtaining terms from holding insurers
    • Renewal Report production
    • Invoicing
    • Policy wordings – ensuring correct and suitable for client demands, needs and cover requirements


    –    Desire to complete Cert CII qualification

    –    Experience in the insurance industry within Employee Benefits

    –    Target book size of £300,000 

    –    Strong working knowledge of employee benefits IT systems

    –    A Can-do attitude with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    –    Ability to work to deadlines and multitask in order to get required work carried out

    –    Strong working knowledge of employee benefits IT systems
