Job Title: Senior Claims broker/technician

Location: London – Hybrid working

Salary: £45,000 +

Contract: Permanent

Our client A North American Insurance Brokerage is looking for individuals that have exposure to Binders, Open Market, Lineslips with some In house binder business.

Areas covered are: USA, Canada, Guam, New Zealand, Caribbean and Australia

Individuals must come from a Property and Liability background. Ideally North American experience 

Main areas of responsibility

Binding Authorities, lineslips and open market

• Bordereaux processing. Which includes checking the correct information has been supplied by the TPA/Coverholder and the figures are correctly included onto their statements and our database. This will also include using BinderCloud and GlobalXB to process the claims bordereaux.
• Setting up and continued monitoring of loss funds on a monthly basis.
• Individual file management which includes tying up new post/correspondence, setting up new claims and reporting to Underwriters either as paper via e-mail or via Class/ECF, checking for responses and communicating those responses accurately and in a timely manner.
• Liaising between our Customers, Underwriters, Adjusters and Lawyers.
• Maintaining diary system.
• Ensuring, as far as possible, individual and bordereau collections are processed in a timely fashion and to meet any deadlines.
• Providing customers with Loss Runs.
• Using Citizens/Natwest banking systems to pay TPA/Coverholders monthly statements/cash call’s while being accurate without causing delay.
• Familiar with all new claims processes including Faster claims processing (FCP)
• Setting up individual claims – from initial report to payment to client.

General

• Proficient in I.T., Excel, and Word skills as would be necessary to process the various duties specified above.
• Full training would be given on the Global XB, and Binder Cloud Broker Systems
