Major/Complex Claims Handler

Job Title – Claims Handler/Adjuster – Major and Complex Loss

Contract – Permanent

Salary – £45,000 – £50,000

Location – York or Colchester

Industry – Insurance (Insurance, Claims, Large Loss)

We are currently working with a well known specialist insurer who are looking for an experienced claims professional to join their major/complex loss team. The role will be a desk based role with occasional client visits and will be dealing with claims in excess of £100k – £150k across residential and commercial property lines.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of residential and commercial claims min £100k 
• Mange the strategy of your portfolio 
• Manage and develop client and internal/external relationships
• Act as a referral point within the team
• Take a leading role in coaching and mentoring initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong claims handling experience within large/complex loss is needed
• Industry qualifications are desired
• Excellent management skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
