Account Executive

Commercial Insurance Account Executive role with a base salary to £70k plus car allowance, bonus and flexible benefits. Central Scotland

The role:

• Servicing a portfolio of mid-market to large commercial insurance clients.
• Building relationships with key clients.
• Advising on best products available.
• Providing quotations on most classes of commercial product lines, including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, fleet, cyber, etc.
• Arranging client new business and renewal meeting
• New business, Mid-term adjustments, insurance and renewals
• Lapses and cancellations
• Liaising and negotiating with insurers.
• Arranging finance agreements.
• Working closely with support brokers, directors, marketing and claims teams.

The person:

• Previous experience of building and servicing a commercial insurance client portfolio.
• Track record of handling most classes of insurance risks including property, motor, fleet, EL, PL, commercial combined, etc.
• Experience of winning new business and building client relationships.
• Possess established insurer relationships.
• Confident handling new and existing business.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Awareness of the insurance market principles and practice
• Awareness of FCA and other regulations
• CERT CII qualified or working towards preferred
• Determined to achieve personal and company targets.
