    Job title: Insurance account handler
    2 days in Glasgow City office, 3 days at home – Hybrid working
    up to £45,000 dependant on experience


    Purpose of role:

    This is a great opportunity to join a global broking company, working alongside respected company directors, handling large and often complex corporate insurance.


    Key responsibilities:

    • Working closely with company directors to provide a professional and efficient service to corporate level clients
    • Handling of new and existing risks
    • Dealing with quotations, renewals, MTA’s, policy issue, market submissions, insurer negotiations and all associate support
    • Liaising with insurers to build strong working relationships
    • Managing account queries and credit control matters
    • Diary management



    • Currently holding or working towards Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications would be an advantage
    • Comprehensive understanding of most commercial insurance risks including property, motor, EL, PL<, commercial combined, cyber, etc
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills
    • IT literate.
    • Acturis experience would be helpful



    Previous experience in the commercial insurance broking industry
