    Job Title – Field Operations Manager
    Contract – Permanent
    Salary – GBP65,000
    Location – National
    Job Role:

    Although subject to revision, the job holder will have c.8 Direct Reports. The role will encompass all Field Operations within General Property including c.94 staff. The role will be home based, although regular UK travel will be required.

    Functional Knowledge:

    – Knowledge and understanding of FSA procedures
    – Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial and domestic insurance market
    – Understanding of Client SLA compliance/productivity/quality requirements
    – Knowledge of resource planning requirements in a dynamic environment
    Background, Experience & Professional Qualifications:

    – Degree level of education
    – Insurance qualification essential, with commitment to progress exams
    – Solid experience at management level within the financial services sector
    – Existing management level relationships within the financial services sector
    – Comprehensive experience of insurer Client relationship management

    – Performance delivery of field activities
    – Personal development and maintenance of professional standards of field staff
    – Development and implementation of an industry leading proposition for field adjusters
    – Development and management of effective adjuster performance management
    – Maintenance of an effective national adjuster network
    – Capacity management to align capacity and capability with demand
    – Establishment of appropriate processes and controls for surge
    – Communicate and implement the business and operational plan for General Property, including the production of any management information as required.
    – Ensure performance management of the field staff to achieve service and technical delivery on all claims
    – Act as customer champion and develop effective relationships with stakeholders; including customers, strategic partners, and external communities
    – Ensure General Property are fully compliant with the companys procedures and external regulatory requirements
    – Develop, motivate and performance manage the UK Commercial team to ensure maximum engagement and operational effectiveness
    – Deliver growth in the regional broker space
    – Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, attending regular review & operational meetings.

    – Behave in a strongly customer focused way at all times to ensure development and maintenance of client relationships
    – Demonstrate personal integrity in a way which is consistent to the companys core values
    – Communicate effectively by sharing, listening and exchanging information and knowledge at all levels
    – Build and maintain positive working relationships within own team and across teams breaking down silos
