    Job Title – Marketing & Lead Generation Consultant

    Contract – Permanent

    Salary – £22,000 – £27,000

    Location – Hertfordshire

    Role:-

    An established insurance business is seeking a Marketing & Lead Generation Consultant. The role will be a combination of promoting the business to the local community through various marketing techniques along with prospecting for new clients. Located in recently refurbished offices situated in a peaceful rural location. The role can be part time or full time will also incorporate some administrative work. A full driving licence is required for the position.

    Duties:-

    • All staff have a responsibility to always act with integrity within their limits of authority and in a compliant manner with all applicable regulation. To support in maintaining retention targets and supporting growth; whilst providing excellent customer service and treating customers fairly. Staff will act with due care, skill and diligence required in their role and support the three strategic objectives
    • Acquire and maintain knowledge of General Insurance products, including product licenses and competencies for your role as applicable
    • Support the Branch, covering other roles as needed to maintain required levels of customer service within authority limits and to contribute to the effective and efficient running of the Branch
    • Research, plan, implement and monitor sales & marketing initiatives, including any central campaigns, across all business areas to build a pipeline for opportunities
    • Generate publicity, including newsletters, advertising and attendance at shows and events to produce leads and enhance the reputation of the business and to protect the brand in its primary catchment areas in line with the local sales plan
    • Identify, analyse and collate data relating to existing customers to generate prospects for General Insurance products and potential cross-selling opportunities
    • Plan, lead, delegate and deliver strategically aligned sales and marketing activities to achieve growth, profitability and product targets and develop local marketplace potential
    • Plan and generate publicity to raise profile and create opportunities

     

    Requirements:-

    • Be able to communicate effectively, both in written format and verbal expression
    • Be able to problem solve, use own initiative and judgement
    • Demonstrate attributes of honesty, integrity, due skill, care and diligence at all times
    • Possess good IT skills to use Microsoft programmes and specific internal systems for example, iFaces, iAchieve and TRACE
    • Develop and sustain effective working relationships where applicable with customers, the team and relevant staff
    • Possess good sales and customer service skills
    • Having a basic knowledge of insurance is advantageous
